I am a world traveler, to me travelling is like a drug. I was born to travel, I am here to see the world. my Ideal career would be a Travel photographer and just see the would through the lens. If I die while am in some remote village, learning their way of life, I will do so with a big smile on my face. Totally obsessed with travelling. In the past 6 years i have lived in 7 cities and loved every minute of it.

Sometimes trying new things its good for you, and it is a confidence booster.

a half day sand boarding tour, but I ended up having a great time.

SO YOU WANT TO TRAVEL

You know you want to travel and you have no Idea where to go. Firstly what kind of a holiday do you want to take; laid back, adventure or a holiday of making a difference? You probably have never heard about a holiday of making a difference.

So this how it works, you visit country and volunteer in a home for the homeless, teach English to people who do not know how to speak English, care for orphans etc. in your free time you travel  around the country of your choice. At the end of the trip you would have made a difference in another person’s life and enjoyed travelling and learned a new culture. After that trip you would feel free and ready to face the world.

What about adventure travel, this is interesting and I personally love this, mainly because I want to break free from the shackles of fear and when we come here I do just that. I remember going on a sand boarding educational tour and I loved every minute of falling on face and back, learning how to sand board and can go on forever how interesting that was. But I felt sense of relieve after that and I was on top of the world.

STOP RITUAL TRAVELLING

 When I ask "where have you been or visited" the answer is always Durban it’s an annual ritual. considering how rich South Africa is scenic view and breath taking places to visit. How can you visit one place every year without fail. I plead with you my fellow South Africans to give other places within this beautiful country of ours chance. Visit a different place every year and enjoy the natural and historical attractions across the country. If you love to visit Kwa Zulu Natal do not go to Durban this year, go to Richard's Bay, Billito, the battle fields, New Castle any other place around KZN except Durban. Tourism has no place for rituals.

Hey my goal is to visit all the continents in the world before I die. I came to live, conquer and die. What is your goal?

Limpopo

There is so much to write about South Africa that you never know where to start. Today am writing about a province on the nothern part of South Africa.
Limpopo Province, those who have never benn to limpopo think its not part of South Africa and it has nothing to offer. I grew up here in this wonderful province and I must say it is a beautiful place to visit. Although i have been living here all my I just can't get enough of it. we some of the top golf estate in South Africa. the natural attractions its just breath taking. the only province in SA to have three native langauges. if you want to experience rural tourism we have a lot to offer same goes for ecotourism, leaisure tourism, sport tourism etc. Limpopo is your gateway to South Africa's Big five.

SMALL TOWNS

There is something majestic about small towns. When I visited Franschhoeck in the Western Cape I fell in love with the place. I was there for only an hour but I never forgot that place. As fate would have it, I relocated to another small town in Limpopo Province, the town was previously known as Nylstroom and now its Modimolle. The town is situated in the Waterberg District and boy i hated living in this town in the beginning, because everything is done slowly and there are no shops or cinemas it’s just Indian shops and just about 5 chain stores. I wanted myself out of this town, I thought living in a small town was going to be easy, but it was not so easy it took me months to adjust, from living in metropolitan areas to living in small town where everything is not easily accessible was a difficult transition.

During the time when I complained about how boring life was in a small town I missed something very important about it. What I missed was how beautiful this town is and the natural surrounding is breath taking. On your way to this small town the view of the mountains there are no words to describe it. When you walk the streets of this town there is no human traffic and when you drive through it, it’s the same. The banks and ATMS are never full with people. When you have something to do you do it without having to spend the whole day standing from queue to queue. Life is simple here and you get to save money. This town is surrounded by game lodges and golf estates to feed your travel bug. This small town has become my home and what I found here I think is the reason why fell in love with Fraschhoek
